Christina: (00:30)
Welcome to episode 161. I can’t believe it’s been this many episodes. Um, we did take a short break in Q4 last year, um, and I was also on maternity leave, so it has been really, really crazy, but I’m very excited to be back and I’m really excited to have the podcast back. So today I wanted to go over what to expect from the podcast this year. Um, I’d also love to hear from you more on what you would like to hear, um, and also just like a little recap of what’s been happening, although I will go more in depth in that, um, in the future episodes. So for one, I’m back. I’m back from maternity leave. Um, it was actually only about eight weeks or so. Um, but I’ve been just kind of coasting and taking it easy and just trying to get through the rest of the year.
Christina: (01:21)
And, um, I actually, we started childcare, um, last week, so at the start of this year. Um, so it has been a game changer, , because trying to work with a baby has been quite difficult. Um, I don’t know how people do it, honestly. , um, I guess I was doing it. Um, but I don’t know. I, I really honestly don’t know how I was doing it. Now that I am, you know, I have help and, um, with childcare and I’m able to work without, um, having her here, I’m like, how did I seriously keep up with all of this? I really, I certainly would not have been able to without my team for sure. Um, so I’m very grateful for them. Um, but I am back and I’m super ready to go. Um, having the space of the help and being able to get back into the new year, the new Year’s is my, it’s my favorite holiday.
Christina: (02:09)
Um, and it’s my favorite time of year. I love anything new. I love change, I love goals and, um, dreaming and like, those are all my favorite things to do. So I love this time of year. Um, so I’m just super excited and I feel very like rejuvenated. Um, a little tired because we are dealing with the four month regression right now. So I’m on very little sleep, but . Um, but overall I’m feeling so much more rejuvenated, um, because I’ve been able to, um, really try and bounce back from, uh, early postpartum and, uh, just get more support and, um, have more space and, um, again, I just feel so much better. So, um, this year on the podcast, um, there are a few changes. Um, so some things to expect for one, um, this podcast is for multiple six and seven figure female coaches, um, more specifically.
Christina: (02:59)
So that’s kind of who we’ve always been talking to, but without necessarily stating it. Um, you know, exactly. So, um, I’m more so going to be stating it so that people know that they’re in the right place, um, if they’re here and listening, um, if you are, you know, maybe on your way to that, this could still, you might be able to still find this helpful, but that’s mostly who we are talking to. Um, and what I’m gonna be doing is more behind the scenes work, um, because we have done, uh, quite a few episodes of behind the scenes of different launches, um, different strategies and things like that. Uh, but I’m going to really, really focus on those cuz those are always the most, um, popular episodes. So I want to make sure that we are covering that just in more depth and making it like really the bulk of the podcast because that is what a lot of people ask for that is, I mean, it’s very clear, um, that those are the most popular episodes as well.
Christina: (03:51)
Um, I also wanna talk about more, um, trends in the industry cuz these are things that, you know, I’m doing in being exposed to every day, all day. Like this is what I do for a living. Um, and I’ve shared more, you know, specific things, um, that are more kind of like, like how-tos and very straightforward on the podcast. And, um, I’ve talked less about just overall like zooming out and looking at the different trends in the industry and what everyone’s kind of doing, um, collectively, um, and where things are headed, um, so that you can be aware of what sort of not everyone is doing, but like what a lot of, um, people are doing and what they’re finding success in. Um, I also wanna talk more about giving an inside look at what happens in our agency because we do so much work on launches and evergreen funnels, um, from low ticket offers to high ticket offers.
Christina: (04:44)
Um, most of our clients have high ticket offers, but we actually do have some clients that have lower ticket offers and just have very high volume and, um, you can still hit those a hundred K months and, and stuff like that with those low ticket offers. Um, you can absolutely hit seven figure multi seven figure like 10 million year plus with a low ticket, um, offer. So it doesn’t always have to be high ticket, but high ticket isn’t always a nice place to start. Um, but we do have clients that do both. Um, some of them only one of those, and some, you know, they have both of those options and kind of a fuller product suite. Um, so we have experience in playing with product suites and funnel types and things like that. So there’s just so much data and insight that I get exposed to just by doing this work.
Christina: (05:29)
And so I’m going to share more of that this year. So if you are someone who is, you know, wondering, um, what is like, you know, on the back end of things, on the inside of what this actually, you know, how these, these actually play out, that’s what I wanna share because I often will onboard a new client and this is always what they’re wondering is, you know, what does this process look like? Like how long do these things usually take? Um, you know, how do these things usually pan out? And so I want to share a lot more of that, um, so that you have the right expectations when you’re going into this, um, whole journey of, you know, trying to hit whatever that income goal is or whatever that type of goal that you have for your business. Um, whether it’s space or time or you know, having most of your money come from a specific offer because you’re tired of this other offer or you do have a specific revenue goal.
Christina: (06:21)
Um, I do want to paint a just a larger, more zoomed out picture of that as well. Um, and, and just to see what that looks like and what that journey is often like. Um, so, uh, the episodes about behind the scenes and sharing what others are doing is just always have been the most popular. Um, and I always just get the question of like, well, what do your other clients do? And um, you know, things like that. So everyone always wants to know, you know, what is it really like behind the scenes of everyone else’s business? And um, cuz it can kind of feel lonely sometimes thinking that you’re the only person that’s struggling with this or that you don’t know what you’re doing and everyone else does or something, um, which is not true. Um, so other things I wanted to share on the podcast are what other people are struggling with.
Christina: (07:05)
You know, speaking of that, um, because this is huge, um, I often, whenever I see a client struggling or even just someone I’m connecting with on Instagram, um, and they’re sharing that, or even in masterminds or you know, things like that, it is common that we feel like we’re the only ones because, you know, we’re looking at social media and if we’re looking at the social media of someone who is a business owner, their stories and things are it’s marketing, right? So they’re not going to be a business coach talking about their failed launch, um, unless their failed launch was a while ago and they’ve had many, many, um, successful ones since then. Maybe they’ll talk about a past one, but not when they’re in the thick of it. And I don’t really recommend them to either. If you are selling a program of you know how to do something, it’s probably, um, best that you talk about how you’ve found a solution and not that you are struggling to find one, right?
Christina: (07:57)
So, um, it makes sense. Uh, so it’s, it makes sense why this is a common, um, issue, but also the thing that happens is, you know, whenever people feel like they’re the only one struggling with something, they might quit too early. Um, because this is often a longer journey and sometimes it’s a brutal one. And so, you know, it, I think it’s really important to share that on the podcast. So we’re gonna be talking more about that this year and, um, that is probably the biggest bulk that we’ll be talking about. Um, I do also want to do, I’m gonna do a couple episodes on like my maternity leave and things like that because I did a couple of episodes before on that and I wanted to follow up with how those went because, um, those were also really popular episodes and at the time, whenever I recorded those, I hadn’t actually gone through maternity leave yet.
Christina: (08:46)
And so now I want to do a recap of what it was like, um, and things that I learned, uh, because there really isn’t a lot of content out there on maternity leaves for entrepreneurs because I searched high and low for that information and I really struggled to find it. So, um, going to be covering that as well. Um, but yeah, that is the basics of what we’re gonna be covering for the year and what the, um, what you can expect from the podcast moving forward. Um, if you have any topics or questions that you want covered, um, I would love to hear, uh, you can send me an in a DM on Instagram, that’s Christina d Bernhard. Um, and I will see you guys there and looking forward to this year. So I’ll see y’all next week. Thank you for listening to the Scaling to Freedom podcast.
